Wednesday June 3, 2015. TEL3M FINAL EXAM
- Please arrive to the Lab (Room 301) by 12:15 pm. The exam will start at 12:30 pm and end at 2:30 pm. The next 10 minutes will enable all circuits, extra wire kits, and batteries to be collected.
- You are to bring the following into the exam,
- your fully charged laptop
- your up-to-date Engineering Report (ER.docx)
- your Evil Genius workbook and organized toolkit
- your working prototype of the NAND Gate Oscillator driving the seven-segment display
- Task. You will be asked to modify your circuit. You will be given all necessary instructions and additional components that includes, among other items, a 9V battery and battery clip. Throughout the exam you will use your phone's camera or laptop to gather images and video content for inclusion in your ER summary of this exam. If you finish the exam before 2:30 pm, do not hesitate to begin work on your ER according to these instructions. Before 9:00 pm on the evening of the exam you will submit your final ER to handin under the Subject Line: Final Exam.

- Preparation
- Be sure your NAND Gate Oscillator circuit that drives the Seven-Segment display is counting as expected and the build-quality is high!
- Start the ER writeup for Project 5. Final Exam, by completing the background discussion of the NAND Gate Oscillator circuit up to the behaviour of Pin 10 of the 4011.
- Ensure that ALL of my previous ER comments have been addressed.
- Reread all the Feedback emails in our TEL3M Subject Conference in First Class to remind yourself of the expectations for your ER submissions.
