For a bit of background which may or may not be helpful.
- 1) I have a degree in Electrical Engineering (Computer Science Option) from Queen’s University – 1987.
- 2) I have spent a lot of time working on the design and support real-time process control and monitoring systems. For example:
- a. Major control systems at Pickering: reactor control, boiler pressure control, fuel handling).
- b. Environmental monitoring systems for fossil plants – e.g., Acid gas monitoring systems
- c. Plant performance monitoring systems for fossil plants.
- 3) One area where I specialize is in software testing (I am good at breaking other people’s stuff).
- 4) I am a Subject Matter Expert (SME) and the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for Cyber Security for control systems at Pickering.
